About Pawsitive Cheeky Chihuahua
Our Story
At Pawsitive Cheeky Chihuahua, we are a family-based program with a deep love for the Chihuahua breed. With over 20 years of experience raising Chihuahuas, our journey began with breeding in 2008. After a few wonderful years, we made the decision to pause our program to focus on growing our family. With seven children (and now a grandchild!), we understand the importance of nurturing both our human and canine babies with the attention they deserve.
About eight years ago, we reignited our passion for raising Chihuahuas and have since committed ourselves to breeding responsibly and ethically. We are proud to offer happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies who begin their lives surrounded by love in our family home.
Our Program
We prioritize the health and well-being of every dog and puppy in our care. Our breeding dogs are carefully selected for temperament and conformation and are health tested and OFA certified to help ensure our puppies have the best possible start in life.
Our puppies are raised underfoot in our home, exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, textures, and daily household activity. With the help of our children, each puppy is handled, loved, and played with daily — fostering strong social skills and confident personalities.
Our Facilities
Our facility is thoughtfully designed to provide the best possible environment for our dogs. We offer spacious pens, outdoor play areas, and ample room for them to run, play, and exercise. Our puppies are raised in our home’s living room to ensure they are well-socialized, while our adult dogs have a large, comfortable space of their own within our home, dedicated entirely to them.
